Northern Lights

What an amazing night!  After hearing of the sun flare, I was hoping for a chance to catch the Aurora Borealis. 
I went to a spot I thought might be good by the lake, and before I knew it, the sky put on a show!  Not only were the lights dancing across the sky, the stars were brilliant, and twice a meteor went shooting by . Unfortunately, it was not in the direction I was photographing.  I was happy to have gone out.
How awesome!
