The path with no name.

Just off Main Street where I live is this little path that leads to a row of old terrace houses.

I can take this way home to my house if I walk back from the train or bus stop.

The path goes under the upper floor of one of the cottages and is a public right of way.

It's beautiful how the house owners on either side and nature have made this into a delightful little entrance.

I came out again early before work to take this shot, it's a grey day but this little path lit up before my eyes, the roses looked stunning.

It made me wonder what term people in different regions would call this path.
Snicket, alley and ginnel are but three I can think off or do you know of something different?
