"Hard a Port" and Hydrating Oils

The Boss wants you to know that this was a conceived shot. He knew what he was trying for before he stopped and took the tripod off the Camera Pak and stacked all those light stopping filters 10 and 6 ND on the end of the lens to get a 20 second exposure and the harbour looking like this.
He could have got the ferry bark later for the traditional one but as it was getting cold and as neither of us had our warm jackets on we went for different.
When you are making images like this you realise that Auckland is a Port town. That’s NOT that it is on the left side of the map (Port) which it sorta is but that they have big cargo shifting boats and stuff that visit. You can see that on the right (Starboard) where a huge container ship with no structure above the deck is left in port.  Actually it hasn’t left yet cause they are still unloading it…Right?
Why this is at all significant is that The Port Company was left when a number of citizens questioned its right to build more bits of port with it’s land that was left undeveloped. The citizens said that was just not right but being as (see above) it is a major port now and looks like one it seems confusing to small stuffed dogs. OK.  (note I didn’t say R….)

In other news the shoe industry is not well and is going into the cosmetic industry as The Boss bought a new pair of shoes (sorry no names no pak drill whatever THAT means) today and was surprised when the lovely lady shoe seller told him that he really needed some Hydrating Oil for them. 
He responded that he thought The Bossess had some of that for her face and would that do? The following discussion got a bit complicated for SSD’s…(Small Stuffed Dogs) and my SSD (solid State Drive) didn’t get it all but it resulted in The Boss passing over some more money. He unfortunately is a sucker for fast talking lovely ladies.
The Bossess returns tonight providing the cows chew their cud and not radar cables.  (See yesterday if this is confusing)
