Displaced persons camp.
This camp though is full of excitable laughter and merriment. The field the set up crew have been camping in for the last 9 or 10 days has been invaded today by hundreds and hundreds of staff and their tents, crammed into every spare inch of grass.
It is no longer ours but will be again in 5 days.
Out in the festival there are 30,000 set up crew and traders either frantically getting things ready, or milling about aimlessly in the sun because they are ready. In the morning the relative peace will be transformed when the gates open and the public swarm in.
Let the maelstrom begin.
