Dead Men Do Talk

These dead men can tell a story alright. Of a special evening when Mum's three offspring were all gathered in one place at the same time to celebrate the actual day of her 90th birthday.

I'm not sure when we three were all together last time but as bro lives in Alabama, I'm in Spain and sis is in Surrey, it has been a while.

We had a lovely time at La Despensa in Cabopino. The place was heaving, the food not brilliant but mostly OK and the atmosphere wonderful.

Mum had an emotional time, but enjoyed it immensely. (See the extra picture.)

And it doesn't stop there. Another big dinner on Friday and the following weekend, Jacqui and I are treating Mum to a stay at the Rock in Gibraltar.

I hope that only the name is similar to Alcatraz.
