Wide Wednesday: Floral

Managed to find a few floral settings on the walk this morning. A lovely wattle tree caught my eye but none of the shots were to my liking.

I pondered buying some flowers at lunchtime to at least have some subject matter, then promptly forgot all about it!

Came home after work and luckily I remembered about this little sprig of blossom my son picked for me at the basketball on Sunday still sitting in a bowl of water!

As the sun was still staining the sky a bit I raced outside for a desperate last try at getting a shot. Not too bad, all things considered, this one is from the iPhone with flash half covered as it was far too bright.
