Day's outing with Mimi!!

Mimi and i drove up the Cabot Trail to Ingonish, where i was delivering an order of pottery to a gallery up that way!   We had such a wonderful time, stopping by the side of the road for Mimi to exclaim how amazingly beautiful it all is!  Lunch at the Clucking Hen which was wonderful.   A walk along Little River Beaches, a few lovely visits with fellow craftswomen - and we did a bit of shopping!   We Ended up on this beach at Ingonish!   The waves were so dramatic....and we often applauded out loud at how spectacular they were!

The drive to and from Ingonish is just so spectacular.....and it was a stunningly beautiful day!

We ended it off with an amazing chicken curry prepared by Jane, who also gave us a little taste of some new tunes she's learning on the piano!

All round full and rich day, and by the time i arrived home around 10.15pm i was ready for bed!  Thanks Mimi for a wonderful visit!  We of course talked pretty well non stop...well it has been 2-3 years since we last saw each other!
