Junction

Just a couple of hundred yards south of Bradford Interchange station the line splits. This is Mill Lane Junction as viewed from the Caledonia Street bridge. Mill Lane runs under the tracks at this point.

To the left the line goes to Leeds via Pudsey, straight ahead will take you to Halifax via Low Moor, where a new station is due to open at the end of this year, fifty years after its last incarnation was closed.

To the right is the Mill Lane Junction signal box, and further right some old coal drops from the steam engine days.
