Brecon Bridge
The wife's VW Golf is three years old and requires it's first MOT, so we headed to Merthyr for them to do the last pre-paid service and sort the MOT.
As we were not due to collect it we headed for Brecon town centre. It's a place I know well as my grandparents and mum are originally from there. The grandparents ran The Greyhound cafe and B&B (now changed) before they sold up and lived in Cardiff. They're buried in the local church.
We park up just outside and walk over Brecon Bridge with it's views of the castle (now an hotel). We had a couple of hours walking around the town, canal, and had refreshments in the church. The Blip photo is of Brecon Bridge and the ducks enjoying the sun by resting on the stones. I love the colours of the houses reflecting on the water and the father and child crossing the bridge.
The car passed the MOT, so all is well for another year.
