In my earlier blip I showed this hive at the start of its tortuous journey to its new stand here

As you can see it has now arrived.  Today it was necessary to try and get the bees from the old  failed colony in to the new one.

This can be quite tricky because  bees from different colonies can fight.

One way to try and prevent the fighting is to spray the hive entrance and the bees with sugar syrup.

This had a partially successful result.
