Clematis

I've had a day of housework and cooking, ready for a lunch party tomorrow. Four old WI colleagues plus Normous and me. I am doing a summery lunch, not too heavy. Today, amongst other things, I made apricot ice cream and it tasted good when I licked the beater!
It was a lovely summer's day while I was indoors, but I did nip out to dead head a few roses and capture this dwarf clematis. It is several years old and still just two feet high. It is in a flower pot balanced on top of one of my Manchester chimney pots.
