Despite a late night last night I was awake early and spent a while sending emails. IMy first good turn was to help some Herman tourists find their way to the Castle but I firgot to tell them aboutbthe no change in TfE.

Today was one of these days when I go in to do one thing, and end up doing something completely different. But it was quite productive.

At the end of the day, after a very good 4 way discussion, I was at the City Chambers for the Compact launch event. Passed Walk AndrewWalk on the stairs and met K and her partner inside. Some canapes, some chat and some wine, then back into the cold. Is this June?

My second good turn of the day was telling a French tourist from Poitiers all about the history of the City Chambers. A future post as a tourist guide?

Home, for an early night. Newcastle tomorrow.
