Il gatto nero e bianco

Not postman pat's cat but equally friendly - the villa cat was nevertheless a little cautious of Matthew and a lot nervous of Ollie (who had a tendency to try scare it on purpose). A quiet morning but the afternoon was taken up by a fabulous anniversary lunch of four courses of genuine Italian food prepared by the villa's custodians Fabio and Elizabetta. Matthew only made it as far as the pasta course before he wanted a nap but we did save him some pudding. The meal itself was accompanied by the most incredible thunderstorm. Fabulous.
