tiger
... at least, in his mind he is. The feline +1 out taking the air this evening and enjoying the warm weather and sunshine. He didn't even seem to mind that I spent a good 10 minutes setting a flash off rather close to his face (on 1/64th power... I'm not going to blind the old duffer!); I did ask if he minded but he didn't answer.
The flashes seem to work. Now to become slightly better at mental arithmetic for juggling aperture, flash power, shutter speed and ambient light (well, what do you expect from someone with only manual lenses? An automatic, P-TTL flash? Pfffft, are you mad?!)
Cycling to work, work, noodles, work, cycling home, playing with cameras (first time in ages!) and collecting +1/3 from scouts. On the way home we saw a huge male stag beetle flying around; it had to be 2" long. Very cool and coincidentally I'd been reading about stag beetles in London just a few days ago. Sure enough: dusk, near woodland, balmy evening.
