The holiday house

Tuesday was a quiet day in for us and Ollie and Izzy with granny and grandad while Steph, Dave, Em and James all went out for the day on the train to Venice. Matthew enjoyed taking selfies and photos of granny. Another impressive rainstorm in the afternoon but afterwards we went out for a walk in the field behind the villa and showed Matthew the moat (he had to be dissuaded from trying to paddle in it). This is us returning towards the more agricultural wing of the house with the barn on the left, the custodian's quarters, a gate, and then what was originally the columbara or dovecot - which had our room on the first floor.
