Save St Abbs lifeboat
A long - but fun - day!
Caught the school bus in to Berwick this morning so MrM could have the car to get his dental appointment. (The loud conversation of the two teenage boys sitting behind was much more interesting than my book!)
Shopping after the Morning Job, then back to the flat. Just time for a few essential jobs and a bite to eat before setting out for St Abbs for an hour's Morris dancing. Only an hour, as the musicians were once again complaining of the cold. Quite a large crowd - two couples from camper vans and locals trying to promote the campaign to save St Abbs lifeboat. Let's hope they're successful. The young man in the blip was quite shy - managed to get a shot when his face wasn't below the level of the banner! He joined in with a couple of dances later in the evening, beaming from ear to ear, obviously enjoying himself! A natural Morris dancer...
Straight back to Wooler as soon as the dancing finished - MrM had been asked to play at the open mike session in the Black Bull. So he did!
Note to self - don't drink cider in the Black Bull...
