Brum Bums

So we have arrived in Brum! Fair play to my family here who were prepared to come all this way and bunk in a hotel room just so I could meet up with some pals, have dinner and a natter and not miss a breastfeed for bubba.

The big thing behind E & L that looks like a wedding cake is actually the library.

Back to the hotel now for a shower and change before meeting up with my pals again for a boogie.

There's a lot of homeless people here.  I hate austerity.  I dislike the finger pointing and shaming of people who need charity in our society.  I feel we have gone backwards.  No payrises for 6 years and yet the solution is  to cut benefits.  I digress.  We bought some food and drink for one homeless guy and felt sad to turn the corner and be met with another, and so young.
