The Historic Kaufmann House
Overlooking Grand lake since 1892.

Once a hotel, now a museum,
Volunteers pride themselves on,
Providing visitors with an authentic experience.
A go-back-in-time walk through history.

The two-story building’s been decorated,
In as many authentic pieces of furniture and accessories as possible.
Even down to the wallpaper.

I admire the museum and the work that’s gone into its restoration.
BUT, this current exhibit....

Dress forms wearing  period costumes,
Good idea.

Adding life-sized heads,
Created by enlarging small parts of small photos.
Bad idea.


It’s the blurred faces I see moving from room to room.
That I find very....
CREEPY.
