BiG Pack

The Krone BiG Pack 1290 HDP baler produces some massive bales of hay and straw.  The "HDP" stands for high density press and is supposed to produce a bale that is more dense than any other baler on the market.  Krone is a German company founded in Spelle, Germany in 1906.  These farming operations are huge and the their baling equipment sure does dwarf the hay baler my family used to use on our farm.  We were lucky to get through half the season (okay, maybe just through a long weekend) 
before our baler broke down.  These new machines, with their German engineering, look like they will last forever.

P.S. The baler is the big yellow rig with the green racing stripe just behind the red Twinstar hay rake, in case you were wondering (and I know you were!).
