Weaving

The Smithsonian institution sponsors a yearly 'folklore festival' on the Mall.  This year, the focus is on Peru and features lots of arts and crafts demos, along with music and dance in traditional costumes, and of course, sampling of Peruvian foods. Sort of like traveling -- for a couple of hours ;)
