All paws on deck

It may not look much to you but our decking was very tired and I spent a couple of hours today applying some wood stain to revitalise it, to pretty good effect. Fat boy helped. Well he sat on it after it had dried. At least I think it had dried. Don't go there on checking a cat's bum for brown stains ...

The other bit of "do it ourselves" was fixing the garage roof (leaking again - not good in this wet weather). The Dizzle heroically climbed up and did the difficult bit.

Had a fantastic surprise today. The Girl Racer is doing Thailand this year and has changed her travel plans so that she can fly out from Bangkok and join us in America for ten days at the beginning of August. How cool is that? Well - New York in August - not cool at all - but pretty fantastic ....
