What to do?
A truffle (or two, as in here) has never crossed my path before, so I haven't spent a lot of time wondering, if ever I got hold of one, or two, what the heck I'd do with it.
Problem now exists.
These, I think (not certain as Bob ordered them, not me) have come from Tasmania. They are also being grown locally in the valley and it appears we are being given one of these to try. It will be interesting to see if there is any difference, and, indeed, if there is, I will even be able to tell.
I have my mandolin at the ready!
