Promised I would try and document this Sri Lankan trip..
This is day three. Sunset.
On the way from the airport a large banner stretched across both carriageways that said "Thanks to ON CALL I got to my meeting on time in spite of my serious road accident"
Stopped on the way at a bakery/cafe for some "short eats". Apart from the food the only other thing on sale was Veet hair removing strips. Strange, as it is not customary for Sri Lankan ladies to remove their body hair.

"I'm just nipping down to the bakery, dear" now, no doubt, has all sorts of strange undertones.
