Wide Angle Wednesday - Floral

My entry for Wide Angle Wednesday is this flower on a thistle plant. I noticed that it seemed to be encircled by a web of some sort which was catching the light.

It was actually quite warm today - and poor Finlay doesn't like going for walks in the sun! He keeps stopping and lying down for a rest. It must be hard with only 3 legs - they have to work a third harder than on a normal dog. Still he did have paddle and a long drink in the beck on the way back through the woods, he does seem to be better with water these days.
