Rifugio Payer must be open

Well the Tesco/Walmart helicopter made its first real appearance today.

What you see here are supplies being attached to a cable on the helicopter. That is at about 1900m in altitude. The helicopter will now raise the goods to Payer that must be at about 3500m. It'll do this three or four times.

You could probably have your shopping delivered by helicopter, but it does make a 39p can of soup about £5.
