Actually, this cat got itself very high up the tree, and then was suddenly very unsure of itself! It really had to suss out its next move and it took its time about it! I SO love the way this flat is designed with large windows and a glass balcony so you don't miss any of the action in the garden! :D As the saying goes, "Who needs TV when you've got real life?"

It is Thursday today and the end of a long, busy week. Good day at work, but the late nights started to take their toll. And I have had to give more pressing personal admin time over these last few days, so haven't been able to really comment on journals as I'd like. Sorry!

Update on Gs car: Looked at all possible options i.e. scrap, trade-in, second hand car/scrap, repair!! We seem to come up to a wall on so many fronts and this morning, a scrap merchant really annoyed me by offering between £100-200 for the car! Ugh. Amazingly, all on my own, (ok, with the help of Google), I managed to track down a man who deals in used Peugeot parts and he has a gearbox! He also knows of a garage that can install it. No commitment made yet, but it's the first time I didn't come up against a wall or someone being condescending at the other end of the line.

And I should say, we seem to have had a week where the temperature didn't go over 40!! High humidity but not oppressively hot. And today, there was a strong breeze that made things even more bearable.
