Summertime

Hard to believe it at the moment!

We are off camping at the weekend. With the current weather in mind I purchased Jake and I new rain ponchos and wellies for Mr Lif. Naturally it would now appear a heatwave is on its way! Guess who is heading into town for sun block tomorrow? Just in case.....

And it is a very happy birthday to my best boy today. It is hard to believe that 16 years ago today I was coming back from a walk up the hill when I realised the time was nigh! Jake has been such a blessing to us. He is a great kid. Smart, even natured, loving and funny. Everything you could want in a child. He has dealt with the ups and downs life has put before him and never seems to let things get to him. He loves and lives for his footie and is a veritable font of knowledge on all things football related!

And now it is almost time to get demob happy! One more working day....a small glass will be lifted in honour of Jake and the up and coming holibobs. Cheers x
