Today was the start of Laura Macdonald's three day jazz workshop at Mackintosh Queen's Cross. Over the next three days pupils will have the opportunity to be taught by two of Scotland’s most respected jazz musicians and educators, saxophonist Laura Macdonald and guitarist Kevin Mackenzie.

Tomorrow night we have the fabulous Feargus Hetherington in collaboration with pianist Edward Cohen. They will perform a recital programme reminiscent of a typical violin and piano recital from the era often referred to as the ‘Golden Age of Violin Playing’.
