A favorite moment.

Breakfast, in the sun, taking my time enjoying  coffee, toast, jam from last season's fruit, a good book...  A faint hum from the departmental road a couple of kilometers away, from time to time the sound of the airplanes very very high overhead, all drowned out by the chattering and singing of the birds.
Time is the most precious part of retirement!
