Sparkles (2015.157)

A gathering of some 65 Jaguars at the Glenturret distillery just outside Crieff.

Lots of shiny metal there, old and new. Some dating from the days when manufacturers remembered to put pigments in their paint.

This though is the boot lid of one of the very newest cars. An F-Type Coupe R AWD. Which is a bit of a mouthful. It's the new four-wheel-drive version of the very handsome F-Type Coupe, fitted with a supercharged V8 engine for maximal carbon consumption.

The noonday sun certainly set off the sparkles in the metallic black finish. A lovely car, but too few seats for it to be of any use to me.
