Car boot - this Sunday!

We Brits are obsessed by our car boots!  Is it the same anywhere else in the world?  Traditionally held every Sunday morning at some god forsaken time (never understood the reason) - we need to be there at around 7am to get a half decent spot (not too bad in the summer).  Then you spend 4 or 5 hours trying to sell your "no longer used but previously cost a fortune" items for as much as you can to people who keep offering you 10 pence per item etc. You do get the professional collectors along who know exactly what they are looking for - that rare book, the genuine Ming dynasty vase for 50p and so on. But so long as the weather is good, it's quite a bit of fun really.  This lot is my contribution (which of course will go to youngest daughter's coffers) and I reckon we have about £50 worth here if I can keep my nerve and not sell the lot for a £1...   Think about us this Sunday - this is where we will be.
