Last school day

We had Speech Day so took a half day to see the end of term celebrations. It is a fairly formal event but good to see all the pupils and breath a quite sigh of relief that school and homework are done for 8 weeks! We got snacks and cakes which was good as I missed lunch in order to be on time (I had been warned!)
The children have done really well and a I had a moment of pride in how much they have done and achieved. However I told them the fact that they have been open and adapted to the change in country and school is much more appreciated.
