Unfortunately our pond has been leaking so decisions to be made.

We decided it was better to move the pond and make it smaller rather than empty the old pond out.  So the new pond will go behind the old pond and once we have anew liner in place we will siphon the water out and transplant the plants.  T hats the plan anyway.  Going well at the moment
