Blue Billygoat Weed

"how do you get rid of this plant growing in our paddock?"
From my city slicker knowledge: They are unpalatable as feedstock and has an unpleasant odour when the leaves are crush or mowed and grow at an abundance in the manicured (grazed) section of the paddock.

Finally got the chance to read the Council Factsheet. What an interesting read. Maybe I should fallow the paddock so Tex (resident horse) would not over graze the paddock.

It is a shame. The blue hue flower structure is unique, beautiful and delicate.
