Turks head lily
The nearby river flooded its banks yesterday which is unusual for June. The river flooded in April when the Kingfishers were breeding and their nests would have been flooded then. Having started breeding a second time this second flood may have caught them a second time round.
Hopefully I will see or hear them shortly.
Spent most of the day shopping and running errands, and had chance to photograph this turks head lily in someone elses garden this afternoon.
