Brixworth Saxon Church

It was one of our regular Northampton days today, and on the way there this morning we decided to stop at Brixworth to visit the impressive Saxon church which dates from 640AD.

We weren't able to go inside because a service was taking place, but we spent some time admiring the exterior. It is the largest Anglo-Saxon church in England and is Grade I listed.
