Wot! No Fish?

Went with my grandaughter on our annual visit to the Summer Exhibition. Some good, many bad and overpriced. The highlight of the day was visiting a small, free exhibition called Wot! No Fish. There you can find sketches by shoemaker Ab Solomons. Between 1926.- 1982 he drew a picture every week on his weekly wage packet that he handed to his wife. He drew the ups and downs of the couples life - some funny, some sad and all beautifully drawn. Over 50 years this amounted to 3,000 drawings. Do go if you are in London. It is on the Southbank next to the side of the Festival Hall.
