Sunrise and an early start!

Speech Day and the final day of term so we were at school before 07:00 to make sure everything was set up and ready.

The sunrise made the lake look like it was on fire and the day certainly became very hot! A woolen gown was not ideal but we looked smart and the celebrations were a great mix of of fun song and dance and serious acknowledgement of curricular success.

We had our staff lunch after the ceremony which was lovely but it was all very strange coming home to an empty house - and remembering that this time last year I was with Philip in hospital.
