Hazem's first lesson

Digitaldaze and Barrioboy have arranged for me to teach Hazem and his brother English. The boys sell flowers in the streets of Zamalek, an upmarket neighbourhood here in Cairo. English is the key to a better life in this country. His father died five years ago and while his mother is around, she's busy working.

It'd have to be one of the most rewarding lessons I've ever taught.
