Ribblehead

The last of my days off and a blipmeet with JanetH at Ribblehead.  I had not visited before but had seen photos of the area here on blip and elsewhere and thought it would be a great place to spend a day.  We had a good circular walk which passed round and through the viaduct and gave us some spectacular views.  The cloud was low for most of the time and the drizzle never far away.  It all added to the atmosphere however and we were almost back at the pub when the rain set in for the afternoon.  I drove home through the Pennines and was treated to some more spectacular views of some really beautiful countryside.  

Another excellent day of photography and of walking with great company in a wild and wonderful part of Yorkshire.  Thank you Janet, I hope we can do it again before too long.
