The geese on the hill

Morning Job, essential shopping, then back to the flat to some domestic chores. Late afternoon MrM and I did a very pleasant walk from Wooler Common, through Earle and back along part of St Cuthbert's Way. (I'm sure poor old St Cuthbert must have been lost - he seems to have meandered all over the place...)

We often see this gaggle of geese not far from the Common, but today they  had strayed quite a long way from their usual field. We were surprised to see them at the top of the hill!
