At beach with Uncle W

Headed to the beach today (after coaxing our uncle out of bed) with my scooter and on the bus. Baby was trying to sleep on the way so we let him out of the buggy to play. We had our bucket and spades with us, and hats and swimsuits, although we did not swim, but just paddled in the water and collected water to make the sand wet, the better to dig a hole. We had sand in our sandwiches and crisps but ate ice cream too while Baby had a nap, then we went to another bit of beach further up, but it was a bit chilly, so we went home and met Daddy (and friends) at the pub, where it started raining, so we ran for the shelter of a Mexican restaurant. Very tasty.
