Escher stairs?

I was at a civic reception with RT for a  collaborative project involving Queen Margaret University, Glasgow Open Museum and Glasgow Association for Mental Health.  The project introduces participants to the sociological imagination by exploring the themes of identity, community and society using art from GOM as inspiration. It was my first visit to Glasgow City Chambers.  A wonderful building to host such an inspirational event. And where did all that marble come from?
