Today was a fun day with my daughter, although not especially successful in finding blip subjects.  My choice is this wasp against the pink spirea flowers just because of the colors.  There didn't seem to be one exactly like it in the insect book, but I'm fairly sure it is a wasp.

For 'Squirrel Blip Friday', in 'Extras' I posted a little red squirrel at full alert while he is staring down my daughter's dog at the base of the tree.  It was so focused on the dog that it didn't even flinch while I got this shot over the deck railing.
