Landslide

It was the biggest obstacle during our walk - 40ft near vertical slope down to a small stream. We should have gone round, but didn't. Wet and covered in mud we make it down (just!) and over the small stream.

Relieved to be down, I take my camera out to photograph the slope when the bottom 20ft of the slope cracks and falls away starting a landslide. Seconds later the stream disappears under a large pile of rocks and dirt.

I caught the start of the landslide but didn't hang around as the rest of the hill started to give way.

2 minutes earlier and we would have been on this hill......
