Lower Buller Gorge

I've headed down to Westport today to visit friends and attend a concert tonight (Don McGlashen).

I stopped at a couple of little creeks on the way down.  I took no notice of the names of them but this is of the last one I stopped at.  We have had so much rain in the area lately that the whole gorge is looking beautiful (although there are a few new slips).  

All the creeks are running pretty fast with more water than usual.  Great opportunities to play with settings - but as is so often the case, I forgot to put my tripod in the car so could only play  with speeds I could hold steady.  I think this one is taken at 1/10th of a second.
