Escape

I had a meeting with my principal mentor on Tuesday and she mentioned dropping for a red wine or two some time.
After a long and challenging (when isn't it) week I decided I would head away for at least part of the weekend.
I headed into school for 9 this morning to tie up some loose ends and conduct an interview and then I packed up the car and headed west.
I was in Te Anau by early afternoon and ensconced in my lakeside motel by 3pm! This is the view as I arrived - not a bad view. Was hoping to blip a sunset but the weather closing in and alas no sunset. Not sure am going to catch an Aurora either!
