Today has been an overwhelmingly emotional day for the United States.

Congratulations to the thousands of same-sex couples that were finally  legally married today.

El Paso wasted no time in not only issuing marriage licenses, but in judges signing exemptions to the seventy-two hour waiting period so same-sex couples could marry immediately.

The reason why? "They've already been waiting long enough."
