Pride

After tears of frustration last night as he practised his piano piece, Arthur made us very proud during his performance at the Piano Concert at the Kennishi High School in Kotoen today.  Kazuko and I, as well as Kazuko's father and her sister all went to see him perform and we all thought he played very well. Arthur's piano teacher also came to watch his performance which was very kind of her.

Unfortunately, Arthur was very hard on himself for making a couple of tiny mistakes so I had to console him in the toilet where he had locked himself in the cubicle for a little weep. Once that was out of his system and I made him understand that he is a very good pianist, he was fine. He is now looking foward to peforming in the next piano recital in November.
