Phlomis

Worked on the grass border again. It backs on to a sheep's field and does seem to get quite weedy in a short time. I moved, with the help of CH, some clumps of Rodgersia into the Dell. I trimmed back a hydrangea which had some damage from that late April frost and did a bit more planting out. I always seem to have plants around which have been split or dug up from somewhere else.
The Phlomis is at one end of the hot border and is just starting to flower. It's in front of an Achillea which is also just starting. You can just about see a Ridolfia at the left. Perhaps the forecast sunshine will do the trick.
